ADVISORY BOARD ANNOUNCMENT

Updated: Mar 28, 2022

December 2nd 2020

Correct-AI, a Canadian company developing products that support the safe and efficient operation of equipment on industrial worksites, is pleased to announce the creation of a strategic advisory board and the appointment of its first two members.

Members of the new board bring a wealth of knowledge and experience from a variety of industries. They will advise the Edmonton-based company as it continues to develop and market its state-of-the-art artificial intelligence platforms.

“We are thrilled to announce that David Morse and Peter Kiss have joined our team in an advisory capacity,” said Correct-AI CEO and Founder, Siamak Akhlaghi. “They will be a tremendous resource to our leadership team, strengthening the company’s ability to apply technology to drive customer engagement and revenue growth."

David Morse was a key contributor for more than 45 years at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's Ames Research Center. His responsibilities at NASA spanned all levels of research, management, and supervision across a multitude of disciplines and research areas, including Earth Science, Advanced Life Support, Advanced Space Technology, Public Affairs and Technology Partnerships.

Peter Kiss is the President and CEO of Morgan Construction. He is a strong business development professional with a demonstrated history of working in all aspects of the construction industry. He brings a wide range of skills to the Correct-AI Advisory Board, including negotiation, budgeting, operations management and contracting.

The new board members will bring additional expertise and guidance to Correct-AI’s efforts for a first-generation product to detect and classify objects in an equipment operator’s blind spot to prevent struck-bys and roll-overs. This is a step up from products on the market today which can identify an object but are unable to classify them by differentiating between humans, vehicles, or other objects that represent a danger on the worksite. Correct-AI’s product eliminates false positives (which is the major downfall with current products in use today); identifies road slope; equipped with recording for insurance purposes and communicates data for efficiency.
